Made In Great Britain

With the Diamond Jubilee only a couple of months away now I thought I would get in the swing of things using the new Papermania Union Jack embossing folder to make these creations.

First up this card bearing the slogan that is just everywhere at the moment.

Next is my personal favourite. I stamped some vanilla cardstock using an old Anna Griffin stamp and cut out pieces of the Union Jack after I had stamped the design. Simple.

I was surpised how many designs I came up with just using vanilla and black cardstock, and probably could have kept going!

The beautiful teapot set is by Bombay Duck.

And finally one more version. All of these cards were made by embossing the first layer and then decoupaging a second layer using the first layer as a guide as to where to place the pieces...much easier than trying to assemble them without doing this.



I may make some more of these using the traditional colours of red, white and blue but I love these monochrome variations!
