The girlies over at Less Is More sure do know how to set a challenge. This week is a one layer card using stripes. Having created a stripey card a few weeks ago I wondered what else I could come up with. Then I remembered my Promarkers-perfect for creating stripes with the chunky chiselled end of the pen.
They key to getting nice smooth lines is to sweep the pen across in one go, no stopping and starting or the ink will be uneven.
I've used Promarkers in Petrol Blue, Soft Green and Pastel Blue. The lovely flourish is from SU's Bliss stamp set.
The great thing with creating your own stripes is that you can play around with sentiment placement. I've split the sentiments to create a bit of balance. The first sentiment is by Hero Arts and the second is from Papertrey's Simple Sentiments stamp set.
Well the girlies don't think this challenge will be popular, I have to say I loved it! Right I'm off...thank you again for stopping by!

This card is a stunner....well lined - I know what you mean about stopping and starting...it's just not on if you want a perfect line....I don't have Pro Markers but it applies to any marker. Well done...and love that Anna Griffin look alike damask style stamp....great work!
