Phew...just managed to get a little bit of craft time in this morning to join in a couple of challenges.
I know I've used black, white and pink a lot recently, but when I found a challenge using these colours I was like "oh well if you insist" lol...
The first challenge is over at The Play Date Cafe. Here is the photo inspiration...
I've used a sentiment from Papertrey's Half and Half stamp set and some hot pink ribbon and Papertrey's Raspberry Fizz buttons for my splash of pink. Isn't that button in the middle gorgeous?
The accent stamp is one of my fave's by Prima.
Now I have confession to make...I have a thing for apothecary jars. This jar is from a beautiful set of 3 from The Original Gift Company, and I've just checked and they have been reduced from £17.95 to £12.95 so I've just ordered another set...bargain. Just the right size for storing craft bits and make a lovely prop for photos. If you know of any other place selling apothecary jars I would love to hear from you. I know Ebay sells them but they are quite a lot larger.
Finally I shall be entering this card into the "Less Is More" challenge which is to use Die Cuts or punches. I have used Papertrey's half and half die which co-ordinates with the stamp set.
Well, I will try and wean myself off the black, white and pink although I can't make any promises hee hee...
As ever thank you for stopping by!

Lovely card, really like the jar as a prop.
You make it look so simple! And so lovely! Fab staging! I was tempted to hop over to the website to buy the jars but I have NO shelf space on which to put them and my floor is already full! Hugs, Lesley

OOh this is just stunning! So simple in it's design, yet so beautifully and elegantly constructed. LOVE it! Thanks so much for joining in the fun with us over at The Play Date Cafe!
I've just found your blog whilst googling for some ideas for using my new Memory Box dies, and I've been blown away by the beauty of your cards. Not only are they completely sleek and classy, your arrangements and props enhance them even further. Like everyone else, I love the apothecary jars and I'm off to see if all the crafters who read your blog have left any in the store for me to buy!! I'm also going to set aside some time to have a look back through your gorgeous blog and see if I can learn to be as skilful and artistic as you are. Thanks for taking the time to share your creativity, it is SO much appreciated.
Happy Creating!
