Two creations for you today as I missed posting last week. The first is a card for the challenge over at Less Is More which this week is "Music". I went for a musical sentiment which I've taken from the fab new Michael Buble Christmas album I downloaded a couple of weeks ago and haven't stopped playing since I bought it. The song I have chosen is Holly Jolly Christmas.
The style of this card is similar to one I did a few weeks ago using another Penny Black stamp. This one is called "Winter Bough".
Simply stamped in black ink onto Papertrey's Soft Stone cardstock and added a few lilac pearl adhesive stones for a splash of colour. Then just added a piece of SU's black striped grosgrain ribbon and the Holly Jolly sentiment also by Papertrey from the Holiday Lights stamp set.
Onto my second creation taking inspiration from a very spikey branch from my back garden...
...and this was the result. Very simple hand drawn branches with a few lilac berries and a computer generated sentiment.
I hope you like. As ever thank you for stopping by my l'il old blog!

Both cards are very beautiful, Sarita and I guess, you just can´t do anything wrong. ;) But I have to say, the second card is my favorit.
If I don´t find the time to come around here before christmas, I wish you a wonderful christmas with your loved ones and healthy new year with no sorrows and lots of creative ideas. :)
Hugs, Tina
Sarita, as usual I love your cards - just beautiful! Isn't finding the perfect colours such an important part of making a card that has the X-Factor! The colours you have chosen work so well together - I wouldn't have thought of the pink!

Pretty! You weren't kidding when you said it was a spiky branch, that thing looks dangerous! Love that you went with the lilac rather then the expected and predicable red!
