Breaking away...

Sometimes I just get the urge to create something that is for me a bit different...to be a little more brave and experiment more.

If anyone had told me that woodgrain effect would look good in crafting I would never have believed them. It so a good look, and these woodgrain stamps from Papertrey are awesome.

Lime1

I've stamped all 3 designs in black Versamark onto vivid lime green cardstock. The label is from PTI's Mat Stack 3 stamp set.

Lime 2

Can you see the non crafting item on my craft shelves?? Honestly, he is such a slob. He has his own cat basket and luxurious cushions to sleep on, but oh no he's got to slouch on my shelf.

See you soon!

This card builds the bridge between the 80s look and elegance. These two don´t seem to work but you made it work. And yes, woodgrain is very good in stamping, I love this set very much too.
Your cat reminds me how my cat used to lay down in the most uncomfortable places, heehee. I just adore these furmonsters.

Hi Sarita,

Woodgrain really is a good look and like you I probably wouldn't have thought so until I have seen this creation.

Love the lime green & vivid pink colour combo, such great colours.

Fabulous card - just loving your colour combo.
As for your cat - he obviously wants to be close to you and that space was just made for him
