Going batty...

... my creations that is, not me hee hee...OK maybe I am a little lol...

Now I know Halloween is still a couple of months away, but I've been itching to use my new Waltzingmouse halloween stamps. I just had to use some of them for this week's Waltzingmouse Sketch #11 challenge.

H1 ss

The WM halloween stamps were great fun to work with. I am really lucky to have an old fashioned sweet shop near me in Canterbury, selling all sorts of fab colour sweets.

The only thing is you have to ask for 100grams...it's just not the same as asking for a quarter like you did in my day lol!

h3

These lime sweets taste every bit as good as they look...and yes I did sample a couple lol.

Now I had a bit of fun with this week's Waltzingmouse sketch....

I thought I would create a bit of a different scalloped border...so I arranged these bats around my card. It took quite while to punch out the little blighters and stick them on but I think it works...
h4
And finally one more shot of the bottle...I got a bit carried away with my props lol...I think it looks quite realistic!
H5
The good thing is that now I have finished making these creations I can eat the sweets! What's that? You think I should share them? Shame you're that end of the computer because of course you know I would...

My kind of spooky treats Sarita! love those lime thingies! Your punched bats look so 'sweet' (can bats be sweet?!?!) sitting all around your card - the black and magenta colors are just wonderful! Thanks for playing with the WMS sketch again this week! I always look forward to seeing your creations!

Good grief, you even make Halloween look elegant! Although that bat on the jar is a little to realistic looking! Those candies do look yummy!

how much patience do you have to punch out all those bats then? These are fab, I just love those sentiments. We have a proper old fashioned sweet shop here too and I confess I still ask for a quarter! Hmm cough candy twists or blackcurrent and liquorice though?
