No stamps were harmed in the making of these creations!!

...if you are a crafter of a nervous disposition, you may want to close your eyes at my 4th photo!! However, if you are feeling brave I will reveal all in a mo lol...

I am so enjoying my new Waltzingmouse stamps as you no doubt have gathered...here are a couple more WM creations...

vintage 2

Below is a £2 bottle of maple syrup from Asda!! I just couldn't resist using one of the WM Rescue Remedie label stamps to transform the bottle.

vintage 6

Then I made a matching card...but how did I stamp part of the labels on the bottle and card in pink??

vintage 1

...gulp...I cut up my stamp!!

I know, please don't faint lol! I know this is probably sacrilege to most crafters but needs must...I know I could have masked off some the stamp but I wanted to use the frame separately as well as stamp the wording in different colours so this seemed the logical thing to do.

With nerves of steel and a long deep breath I took my scalpel to the stamp and cut very very carefully around each part I wanted to separate. And do you know what? It worked! It still works perfectly when I put it all togther or I can use it separately as shown.

vintage 5

I used Tim Holtz distress inks in Tea Dye and spritzed my card with Glimmermist in BlackGold.

vintage 4

As I couldn't make up my mind which was my bottle's best side so I took a photo from 2 angles!!

vintage 3

Well I hope you can forgive me for carving up my stamp lol...

Thank you to all of you who have left comments on my last couple of creations, and sorry for being such a bad bloggy buddy of late. I will make amends this weekend I promise!

Sarita, you are forgiven. Both for cutting your stamp up ( very brave) and not visiting. You`ve certainly made up for it with these gorgeous creations. And mid week too, we are spoilt.

Gorgeous. I love the effect of 2 different colors. It is alright to cut up the stamp, I guess, to do something so stunning! ;-)

Sarita, your creations are stunning! Love the black and pink. AND love that you up'd Claire's creativity (which is hard to do....she's got some mighty fine stamps there!:>) by making her stamps even more versatile. I am SURE your stamp surgery will make for even more lovely results. :> So glad I stopped by & saw what you are up to!

Fantastic creations Sarita. I too, think they are reminiscent of something you would see in a John Wayne film. (Think it is the style of the font.) Your maple syrup looks a lot more expensive than two quid now!
