Getting inky again...

I felt yesterday that I really needed to break out of the clean and simple rut I've been stuck in for a while, so I got out my distress inks and I've had a play...

Here I've just used plain white card and covered it in Tim Holtz distress inks in Pine Needles and Peeled Paint. I then stamped my toile design using my gold Encore pad. For added interest I've ripped some paper and stamped a Whisper sentiment stamp all over it and then layered it up.

I also used my trusty Priscillastyle envelope template to make a macthing envelope.

Finally I used some deep lace to make a huge lacey flower.

We've gone from one extreme to another with the weather here today...instead of hot sunshine we have rain and it is very overcast, so my photos aren't the best, but I prefer the cooler weather any day!

This is very pretty, love the layered vintage feel. The lace flower is gorgeous. The colours you have chosen are really soft, and go together really well. Judith xx

Loving the vintage look of your latest creations Sarita. As usual, you have produced a sophisticated and elegant design and the lacy flowers are exquisite.
Overcast and rainy is Sussex too.
