Finding inspiration again...

You'll never know how close I have come in the last few weeks to throwing in the towel on my crafting. I don't know why, but I had lost complete motivation and hadn't even wanted to set foot in my craft room. The frustration of not being able to think of anything to create was overwhelming and I very very nearly gave up.

But then suddenly a spark of an idea took hold, and brought me back from the brink!

B18 ss

I decided to make my cards for this week's CAS-tastic challenge. The challenge is to use at least 3 of the following elements:
Stamped or printed image
Inked Edges
Paper Piercing

b15 ss

This card has all elements except inked edges, not bad eh? I've dry embossed two lines down the left hand side of the card, masked off a panel to stamp this beautiful Anna Griffin design, paper pierced my circle and added some black lace!

I've used Paula Pascual's fab circle sentiments for all of these creations, I just love them.

b20 ss

To make these loops I just put one circle Nestie inside another. The gorgeous acid green cardstock is by Bazzill.

b16 ss

And one final card to complete the set...

b19 ss

Well, all I need to do now is keep up the momentum and pray that the creative spark doesn't was a very close call to me giving it all up and I don't want it to happen again!

All stunners Sarita. If your card doesn't make the Top 5 I will eat my hat! Know what you mean about losing motivation, but in my experience it usually comes back if you take a break for a while. Your newly decorated room is lovely and SO you, as are the xmas decorations. Fancy even thinking about them matching the decor, it wouldn't have even crossed my mind!
Have a lovely weekend.

OMG don't you dare give up! You have far to much talent to waste, I think we all get a bit of a mental block sometimes especially when life is so busy. I just love your new colour scheme in your living room it's actually given me a bit of an idea because my colour scheme at the moment is red & gold but is ready for a change I feel and I too would have to change all the tree
Anyway your cards are stunning as usually and the designs are amazing ;)

Have a lovely weekend

Absolutely gorgeous cards Sarita and I love the colours and what you did with the circles, they look great. You made me laugh about the Christmas decs, I would have thought about that in the middle of December and ended up paying a fortune for new matching ones LOL! Glad your motivation came back, I'd hate it if you stopped crafting but sometimes just a little break is needed and then something like your colour scheme sparks the ideas, I'm glad it did for you. Have a great weekend. Love Chris xx

Stunning Sarita, love the colour scheme and your attention to detail is excellent, as usual. I think the loss of mojo happens to all of us at some point (I've been there one or two times), but normally something will happen to kick start it. Hope it sticks with you. Sue C x

Oh, how beautiful. I just love your colour combination and the style of your cards. I even ordered Paula's stamps!

Fancy thinking Christmas in July! lol At our house my daughter chooses the tree colour scheme one year then my son the next. Neither one of them matches the decor!

OMG Sarita - you must never give up your crafting and creating - you are far too talented to give in. These projects are just divine, as your work always is - I love them. And no, you are not sad to change your Xmas baubles to match your new room decor (which looks fantastic by the way) - colour coordination is a girl thing, and should be allowed at all times!
One other thing - I LOL when I saw your sidebar picture with the cute kitten and the gun - don't know where you found it but I love it!
Keep up the brilliant work - love and hugs, Sylvia xxxxx

Hi again Sarita - just a short note to thank you for the cute kitten pic. I have never had any moggies - just doggies, but it really appeals to my sense of humour! Lots of love, Sylvia xxxx

Oh! Sarita I'm going to have to get a thesaurus because I constantly use the same words to describe your work - gorgeous, stunning, etc, etc. and I need new words to describe your gorgeous/stunning work !!!!
PS. Don't you dare give up xx

So glad that you got pulled back from the brink! All of us would be the losers if you were to stop crafting. Should have known that your living room and Christmas tree decorations would be as elegant as your cards! And no thinking of Christmas in July is not sad, it's perfectly normal. At least it is to us "crafty" types!

How on earth could you ever think of giving up your crafting???? You produce some of the most stunning creations in blogland and it would be a much 'sadder' place without your postings. I'm here catching up with everyone today - taking it easy... I love all of these creations. Also - needed to tell you that the cushion at the front right is one i had - only the negative (green with brown flower)... love your colour scheme and love your ruffle cushion too.
