When less is most definitely more...

There are some stamps that are just so beautiful they deserve to be the centre of attention...and this Anna Griffin clear stamp definitely does.

What a stunning design.

For the first time I've set my card against a patterned backdrop. The gorgeous DP is by Making Memories called Greenhouse Paperie...papers I bought ages ago and am still at the stroking stage several years later!

I am happy to report it has cooled down overnight. Storms have cleared the air, and even though it's overcast it is lovely and still, so we had breakfast al fresco this morning. I love the smell first thing on a summer's morning of the damp air, and listening to the bees busy at work...such simple pleasures.

Well I will be back soon if I can tear myself away from the garden!

Stunning card Sarita. The image didn't need anything else to set it off. My problem is that I never know when to stop and always keep adding things.

LOL at "the stroking stage" - mmm - been there! yes, that stamp can certainly cope with being on it's own, love how you matched perfectly the gems to go with it. so stunningly simple and so clever.

Very elegant and striking Sarita. Love the colour you chose and the bling really finishes it off to perfection.

Beautiful and simple. Yummy paper too.
Now if I'd had brekkie in the garden today it's quite possible I'd have drowned! I drove to a nearby village to do a craft fair in the worst downpour since erm - last night! I had to turn around and re-route twice due to the roads being closed by floods!

Another stunner. As for the paper, no wonder you're still at the stroking stage. Looks marvelous as the backdrop for this card.

It really is a beautiful card and stamp Sarita, I agree it needs very little else. Your Sunday sounded idyllic, I hope you managed to spend most of it in the garden. Hugs, Chris xx
