Another handrawn design...

...there's no stopping me now lol! Think I just had to prove, even if it was to myself, that I'm not just a one trick pony!

I'd like to make out that this design took ages to think about and ages to draw, but it took minutes to do! In fact this time, unlike my last design in my previous post, I was so confident about what I wanted to do I drew it directly in ink onto the card without drawing it in pencil first.

This time I've used SU's Soft Suede cardstock...another beautiful new colour. I added a couple of gold gems to the centre of each flower burst.

Now I can't tell you what flower this is supposed to resemble, coz it's not based on anything in particular...I'm just letting my imagination take over and this is the result!

I'm keeping these cards very simple at the moment, I just don't have time to sketch and create anything too involved!

Your feedback on my last post was so encouraging, and I want to thank you for taking the time to leave me such lovely comments, they really do mean a lot to me.

Good for you Sarita! Two beautiful designs shown in just one day! Cant wait to see more!

I had a lovely browse through your blog and came across your girly designs too and they were gorgeous too but you seem far more comfortable with natural and botanical though!

Lets hope your designs will soon be in production!

I would absolutely buy these two stamp designs (and I suspect most anything else you would come up with!) -I sure hope you do move forward into designs for sale. Even us you just decide to sell through your blog. There's an elegance in these images that isn't easy to come by in the rubber world.

Sarita, your drawing is just like your cards, simple, elegant, classy, classic and just plain gorgeous! You should def. follow your dream! You've got the talent, that's for sure. Maybe, as someone else suggested, you should consider making them digi's? Instant gratification, they're always the right size, price is must more reasonable. Anyway something to think about. I love both the cards that you've done with your own ink drawings. GO FOR IT!

Who cares what flower it is, I love the delicate what it is drawn, similar to your previous design and how the shape of it covers the card (sorry not very good at describing what I mean LOL) Anyway, it's gorgeous Sarita!
