Another design...

...loosely based on...the Sea Holly. I love structural plants, and this is another fave plant of mine.

You can see it much better by clicking on the picture.

Again I drew this design directly in black ink onto the cardstock...I actually think this would be quite versatile as a stamp, inked up in different colours or used to create a background.

This time I brushed some blue pigment powder over some of the spiky petals...actually my husband corrected me, they're not petals they're called bracts! I learn something new every day!

I realise this is a bit different, maybe not everyone's cup of tea, but I'm still very much in the experimental stage! I will probably look back at some of these designs and wonder what I was thinking lol!

You're on a roll, Sarita. This one's looking great on a CAS card... but as you say, it should look lovely inked in different colors and/or used as a background :-). I love your use of metallics.

hugs,
Smita

One word ~ STUNNING !!

I think that`s the best one yet. This is why I think they`d be better as stamps rather than digi`s. Just think of all the effects you can achieve and the colours...I`m really jealous of your talent lol.

I love sea holly and this is a fab representation, I think the colouring is fantastic. Can also see this doing well in other colours such as lavender/purples and even grey/black.

Your a great designer! and thank you for charing. I was a few days without an internet connection, so my reaction is a bit late. I prefer rubber or claer stamps. I have a few digistamps as wel, but you can never use liquid, because the ink wil run out.No glimmermist or stickles.

This is my cup of tea too! Love Sea Holly and have some in my garden. The only problem I can see if you produce all your designs as stamps, is that I won't be able to afford them all! They are all so beautiful.
You so deserve to be featured again on Inspirational. Congratulations Sarita.
