My first Kimmie!

...not before time I hear you say!

I bought some Kraftin' Kimmies several weeks ago from Quixotic Paperie...and then when I got them I realised I hadn't used an image for so long I didn't know what to do with them!

That's when the whole colouring thing started to worry me...you know not having done any for soo long...

But it's my niece's birthday soon, so I knew had to try and overcome this hurdle and give it a go. I just know she will love this Kimmie.

I used one of the sheets of the Papermania capsule collection paper in Aqua, and did some dry embossing before stamping my image.

To colour the image I used watercolours...I think I have some way to go before I reach the dizzy heights of the fab colouring that you all have reached, but I am reasonably happy with the result!

Actually you know I really enjoyed making this card, and I feel confident to use some of my other Kimmies now.

Well, I am in a dilema today...I want to continue with another flower tutorial I am preparing to bring you, but the weather is absolutely beautiful...somehow I will have to try and do both!

I hope the weather is as lovely wherever you are...bye for now!
