More trees and my very first stamp...

Phew...lots of photos in this post make yourself a cuppa and put your feet up lol.

I would hate my blog to get samey, but when you like something, you like something right? And I love the Bella Bleu papers from Stampin up and my new SU stamps, so I just had to use them again.

Now there was me saying in my last post that I don't do sketch challenges very what do I do? Yep another sketch challenge!

This is the sketch over at Mojo Monday for this week which I have again used for inspiration...

And here is my card...

I also decided to make a box using Papertrey's "Time For Take Out" box template. I made a right mess of my first attempt...probably because I was trying to rush it. Now that I have put it together I really like it. The template also comes with some side panels as an optional extra...will definitely be giving this another go as I think it has a lot of potential.

Now the next card was made using the first stamp I ever bought!

It must be at least 6-7 years old...I think this is where my love of tree stamps originated. The stamp is by Personal Impressions from the "Beryl Peters" collection. Little did I know what this first stamp would lead to lol...

The beautiful sentiment stamps are new by Rachel Anne Miller. Of course I couldn't resist making another acetate card...and I've made one of my matching DIY brads as well. The scalloped punch I've used is by E K Success called "Diamond Lace"

....that little pheasant gets around he he.

Many thanks to my lovely bloggy buddy Gina, who shared with me how to add falling snow to my blog....if you would like to know please e-mail me and I will give you the Java/html script to add to your sidebar.

Well, I expect my Sunday is going to fly by again...first though I'm off to see what you've been up to!

Love all of it, your choice of stamps and the colours you have used.
The snow is great too but don't think I will bother, I'm so rubbish with all that techie stuff it will be March before I've worked out how to do it!
Thanks for lovely comments.

Beautiful as always Sarita. I've been playing with that pheasant stamp this weekend whailst away at a craft retreat, I may have to be my next purchase. A freind and stamping up demonstrator showed me how to colour the image to look like the actual colours of the pheasant using reinkers. if you're interested let me know and I'll get her to do a demo on her blog
I do so look forward to seeing your work and am never disappointed.

Hi, Sarita.. Me again..

Re. Gilbert the Ghost.. You left a comment on my blog candy post for my digistamp, but I think it was to answer a question I'd left on your blog, and it wasn't to enter the blog candy draw. Can't really see Gilbert being your kind of thang, but if you would like a copy, please drop me a line at so I get your email address. And if not, then all I can say is that you have very poor taste in ectoplasm, and - well - I just despair. ;o)

Oh my word Sarita - these are stunning! I adore the curved borders, the colour scheme and those beautiful stamps. (Love the acetate too)! Perfection!!
Love, Sylvia xx
