My first ever Halloween creations!

Yep it's true...I have never made anything for Halloween...but whilst blog hopping I have been so inspired by other peeps Halloween creations I felt I had to give it a go...

Firstly, can I just mention the beautiful Rudbeckias in the photo above...these are courtesy of the hubster who grew them from seed....they are absolutely flourishing in our garden...I just couldn't resist pinching a few to use as a backdrop for my creations as they fit perfectly with my colour scheme!

The bag is a template I've used before in previous posts from The Cutting Cafe. The spider stamp is by Inkadinkadoo and I've used a spider punch to add a couple of l'il spiders on to the stamped design.

I don't have any spooky sentiments, so I generated my own on the computer using the "Parry Hotter" font on Word...can't possibly think what the play on words is lol.

The bat stamp is also by Inkadinkadoo. This has to my favourite of the set. As for the image, I thought one of the Stamptique girlies would be perfect as they are so creepy!

Right I'm off to do a spot of internet I do occasionally have to wrestle with my conscience...sacrifices have got to made somewhere to pay for the craft stash...can hubby do with smaller portions of food? or can I just feed the cats left overs instead of their luxury Iams? .....yep on both counts me thinks..I'm off!!

Hi Sarita! First ever Halloween crafting?? How is Halloween celebrated over the pond? I am assumming it is....but, you know what they same about people who assume!!! lol I seriously have a MAJOR addiction to Halloween themed paper crafting supplies. I think I need a 12 step program. Seriously. I finally was willing to admit that when I bought the same pack of Halloween specialty brads by Making Memories THREE times!!!! Sigh. Not quite sure what the draw is for me since I'm not into all things ghoulish, not at all. But, I LOVE it when it comes to paper crafting supplies!

Speaking of love, I really am adoring your Halloweeny collection here....your Hubster's flowers and all! That bat flourish stamps is just delish! I just bought an Inkadinkado Halloween set....but it didn't have that one! Fantastic!

Have fun online shopping and please do share with us what you find! (And yes, I often have that same discussion with myself....what can I trade off for more stamps! :>:>)

Now y'see I don't like halloween stuff but these have changed my mind! The bat stamp is actually incredibly pretty and your creations don't have a 'ghastly' feel to them either.

How do you do it?

ps made another one of those folders - inspired by yoru black and teal combo the other week

This is just stunning, the flowers are beautiful too, clever you and clever hubby.

I echo your comments on internet shopping, weighing up what is more important than new craft stuff is a very tricky one? Craft stuff usually wins, will have to sell my hubby or a kidney soon?!!

Hugs Lol xxx
