Here's one I made earlier...

Well I'm glad to report that I am feeling a lot better than last week...I can't believe how I was saying about feeling feverish and ill, and then within days it was all over the news about swine flu!! I haven't just come back from Mexico (I wish lol), but the symptoms were certainly very similar to those being reported. Who knows...I'm just glad that whatever it was has gone!

Anyway, I have cheated a little here...I made this card several weeks ago but didn't post it on my blog in anticipation that my card making would grind to a halt whilst I settle into my new job...well thank goodness I did as I have not had any spare time to do anything since starting work...but at least I have something to post on my blog to show you this week!

I created the background with some stippling, and some floral stamps and the large black ink swirl is by Tim Holtz.

Sorry for being such a bad bloggy buddy lately, my new job is going very well but it is taking up a lot of my time and energy at the moment...I'm hoping my life will return to some normality very soon.

  • Large background stamp: B Line Stamp-Floral Motif
  • Small leafy stamp: Laura Ashley
  • Large swirl-Tim Holtz
  • Sentiment: Whiff of Joy
  • Pigment ink cats eyes in Lilac and grey

OH my, this is so gorgeous sweetie, I am so in awe of your work. Wish I could be brave enough to leave the patterned papers alone and try and create something half as good as this card is.

BTW, here's the link - their site is not up and running yet but I believe you can email or phone them and they will send the stamp out to you

Just stunning, Sarita. Beautiful colours and gorgeous layout- I love it, especially the delicate colours in the background stamping. Glad you're feeling better and are enjoying your job but isn't it a pain when the practical things in life get in the way of crafting?!!! x

Hi Sarita

I am pleased to hear you are feeling better and that work is settling down for you. You must feel very relieved.

How thoughtful (and clever) of you to keep back some creations to post during your "new job" manic spell.

Your posting today is lovely as always.

I hope you find time for a little crafty dabbling over the Bank Holiday break.

Love Jules xx

Hi Sarita
