Getting back in the swing of things....

Well, that wasn't too long a break was it lol...I don't want to say I'm feeling better too loud coz when I do this virus thing keeps coming back!

So we won't talk about it OK lol...except to say thank you all so much for your lovely get well wishes, you are all such kind and lovely people.

Now I know this card won't set the card making world alight or anything....just a very quick card I made using the gorgeous new papers from Laura Ashley.

I have to say that I find orange a particularly difficult colour to work with and it took me ages to find any card that I thought would go with this paper...in the end I chose a kind of buff colour card to go with it.

Well, I have had a bit of a splurge recently to try and cheer myself up and bought loads of new stamps...so if I can stay well for five minutes lol I hope to do heaps of card making over this coming bank holiday.

  • Chandelier Stamp: Heidi Swapp
  • Papers: Laura Ashley
  • Sentiment: Inkadinkadoo

Hi Sarita

So pleased to hear you are feeling a bit better. (It will be all that stash buying that has put you back on form - best buy a bit more to make sure you have well and truly banished those nasty bugs!!!).

Can't wait to see some more creations from you.

This one is lovely. As you say, some colours just don't want to match up with anything do they - but this goes together perfectly.

Take care and ease yourself back in gently.

Great to see you again.

Love Jules xx

It's quite a relief to read that you are feeling more like your old self. Long may it continue!! Lovely card, I have these stamps, as I think they're fab, but haven't quite sussed out how to use them to such good effect as you have here!
Wonderful.
