Getting creative with my photography!

I have decided to get a little bit more creative and have some fun with my photography....I adjusted my tripod to it's full height and tilted the camera to face down on to my card....what do you think to the new perspective lol

Not only that but I added a little prop...in the form of some white fluffy stuff I had!!

I created the background with....yep...my stipple brushes again...but this time I heat embossed my floral stamp in white....I added some say it in crystals again....told you you would see more of them lol.

I decided not to use white as my base card...instead I used a vanilla colour which gives it a slighty different look.

Some people have asked have asked me how I don't get specks of embossing powder on my cards...well I do get some...personally I don't find anti-static cloths very effective...but my top tips would be to never handle your card...any grease from your fingers will pick up the tiniest amount of powder...and don't press your versamark stamped image too hard as again the tiniest amount of versamamrk caught on the edges of the stamp will pick up the powder. Other than that if there are any specks I use a tiny dry paintbrush to wipe them away.

Well, I quite like the look of the new perspective photo and I will definitely be using this technique again (and my fluffy prop lol!!).

Totally gorgeous card Sarita, I love the stippled background and the white embossing looks so effective on the Vanilla card. Your props and differently angled photo's are superb, the second one with the fluffy stuff at the sides of the card is fabby and it's a real treat for the eyes (note to self, must get more creative with props hee!).
