Colour Create Challenge # 8

Well it's that time of the week again...now what is so different about this challenge...well it's my idea this week so you know who to blame if you don't like it lol.

I chose blues and greens...my personal fave to work with...well they would be wouldn't they lol.

The extra option is....no design papers!!

Ooh I can feel the shock waves from here lol...I haven't used designer papers for several months and the more recent cards on my blog bear this out...in fact it is rare that I use them at all now...I know I feel a much greater sense of satisfaction coming up with my own background designs....and it is so quick and easy.

I made this solely using Magenta flourishes, and used Stazon in midnight blue...and just to give it a bit of extra dimension I cut out a couple of flourishes to put around my sentiment.

I am completely in awe of the fantastic ideas that rest of the Design Team come up with this week...there are ideas that hadn't even occurred to me.....please please do take a look at the DT's amazing cards. I do hope you join in...and above all....enjoy!

Hi Sarita
Fantastic card as always and you're right, coming up with your own paper designs is really pleasing. I've been playing with glimmer mist type stuff and love creating wit that but also like making my own designs on photoshop.
Have you tried that?

Hi Sarita and thanks for a brilliant challenge Sweetie, I enjoyed it so much. I do occasionally make my own backgrounds and have always enjoyed doing it so this was a real treat for me. I love your card and lime is a favourite of mine so you were already onto a winner! Your stamping is perfection and I love that gorgeous ribbon and the cut out scrolls, it's all so elegant. Hope you're having a good weekend. Hugs, Chris xxx
