Colour Create Challenge # 7

Another week has flown by....and here we are again for the next Colour Create challenge. This week's colours are...red and green...with the optional extra of "Wings" as a theme...
Here is my card...

I chose more of a lime green for my card, and a dark maroon as my shade of red...I stamped an Elusive Images floral stamp very lightly in the centre of my card as I wanted the Basic Grey edging stamps to be more prominent.

The dragonflies are by the Stampman....this is one of the first stamp sets I ever bought....I love how delicate they look.

One thing that did surprise me was that when I finished the card is that I think it has a slightly oriental feel about it, and although this was not what I set out to achieve, I quite like it !

Do take a look at the DT cards once again....they are so inpirational...I really hope you can take part this week.

  • Dragonfly stamp: The Stampman
  • Floral background stamp : Elusive Images
  • Border stamp: Basic Grey
  • Sentiment: Impression Obssession
  • Ink: Colourbox in Lime Pastel and Maroon
  • Paints: Twinkling H2O's

Hi Sarita,
Just a quick message to say thank you so much for the lovely things you sent me for my birthday and the beautiful card. I'm sorry I haven't got round to thanking you before now but I have been incredibly busy with a large history project.
