A New Year and a New Sketch

Hi everyone and a Happy New Year to you all!

I had a very busy Christmas, but thoroughly enjoyable nevertheless. While I was hunting in the loft for the christmas decs I found these two pictures!

I did these..., well lets just say many years ago, when I was doing my A level art.

I would like to have gone to art college but sadly I became seriously ill for several years and never returned to full time education.

I don't have any regrets though as everything that has happened to me has led me to this point, and card making gives me my creative outlet. I do feel as though I am more creative than artistic if that makes sense.

Well, although I was busy over Christmas, I was able to do quite a lot of card making and a little sketching too. Now what could have possibly inspired me to draw this image?? mmm, could it be me at the January sales??...lol

The edging stamps used on the background were a Christmas prezzie from hubby, and are by Basic Grey.

Well, it's great to be back, and I'm off now to do a little blog hopping to see what you've all been up to....

Oh my goodness dear this is just fabulous, the colours are perfect and the layout and embellies are wonderful. When are you going to do some downloads of your fabulous sketches dear I certainly would love to have them and it could make you a little extra money hun, think about it. It is cheaper than having stamps made and would be a greart way to find out if it would be worth investing in the stamps
Have a brilliant 2009 dear
